The Town of Inuvik is holding an August 10 public hearing to consider renaming Bompas Street and consolidating two Carmichael Drives into one.
The hearing is to gather feedback, the town said in a Monday notice.
In 2024, the town renamed a street on the grounds that its former name was associated with the residential school system.
The latest hearing considers a proposal to rename Bompas Street to Ptarmigan Way.
