An NWT RCMP spokesperson says a person driving a pickup truck hit a child while they were riding a bicycle across the street on a red light near Yellowknife’s uptown Reddi Mart on Monday afternoon.
The child was receiving medical care when the RCMP arrived on scene. Police said the child was transported to Stanton Territorial Hospital and is expected to recover.
