There has been yet another suspected femicide in Montreal, as calls for better prevention continue
A 44-year-old woman was found dead Saturday — the 12th suspected femicide in the province so far this year.
“How many deaths will it take before we act?” actor and activist Ingrid Falaise said at a press conference on April 21, 2026, as she and others called on the Quebec government to take concrete action to prevent future femicides.
