Huntington Hills residents asked to shelter in place, police investigate robbery with a weapon

Calgary Police have issued a shelter-in-place as they investigate a residence near a business that was allegedly the victim of an attempted robbery. Jim Wells/Postmedia Police have issued a shelter in place notice for the area surrounding a Huntington Hills residence amid an investigation into an attempted robbery with a weapon of a nearby business. Police are on scene following an attempted robbery shortly before 10 a.m. Wednesday at a business on Fourth Street and Northmount Drive N.W. The incident has since been contained to a residence on the 7000 block of Hunterburn Hill N.W., but nearby residents are asked to shelter in place. More to come . . .
