A woman is being listed as a missing person after her vehicle plunged into the Thompson River in Kamloops on Saturday evening. The vehicle went over the embankment and into the water near Waterfront Park around 6 p.m. The driver was not seen and search crews were unable to locate her, leading police to presume she had drowned. “Crews searched the river for a significant period of time with divers and underwater equipment, but did not locate the female subject,” said Cpl.
