Colt Emerson’s first career hit was a no-doubter.
The rookie outfielder from Winnipeg belted a two-run home run in the eighth inning Monday night as the Seattle Mariners defeated the host Chicago White Sox 6-1.
Emerson, who was promoted from Triple-A Tacoma last week, went 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
