The Transportation Safety Board (TSB) is investigating a tragic glider crash that resulted in the death of a pilot near Red Deer, Alberta on September 25.
According to local authorities and eyewitnesses, the pilot lost control of their glider during a flight and crashed into some trees about 30 kilometres northeast of Red Deer. Emergency services were called to the scene but unfortunately, the pilot did not survive.
