Robert K. Irving, co-CEO of J.D. Irving Ltd., died on Tuesday after a long illness. He was 71.
Mr. Irving had been fighting cancer for years and passed away peacefully at his home in Saint John, N.B., surrounded by family. His passing comes almost one year to the day since his twin brother and fellow co-CEO, Donald K. Irving, died at age 72 after a lengthy battle with prostate cancer.
