A 25-year-old man has been charged with one count of threats to expose private images and one count of uttering threats after a string of incidents in Surrey and Abbotsford, B.C.
The alleged incidents began on May 14 when the victim received a text message from an individual demanding $300. The message stated that if the money was not provided within four days, an intimate image would be released to their contacts.
