A man died in a scuba diving incident in Metro Vancouver Sunday afternoon, authorities have confirmed. The West Vancouver Police Department says first responders were called to Whytecliff Park for a “scuba diver in distress” just before 1:30 p.m. Firefighters, paramedics and the Canadian Coast Guard arrived to help but the 50-year-old was declared dead at the scene. “The man’s next of kin have been notified.
