Longtime Metro Inc. chief executive Eric La Flèche will step down in September after more than 18 years in the top job and become chair of the retailer’s board of directors.  Metro said Tuesday that Marc Giroux, the company’s chief operating officer, will succeed him as chief executive, effective Sept. 27.
