Hyundai has recalled more than 80,000 vehicles in Canada due to a “safety risk” that could lead to an increased risk of crash.
In a recall notice posted on Transport Canada first on May 19 and later updated last Thursday, the automaker said there could be a software problem on certain vehicles that could cause the front camera to malfunction.
“On certain vehicles, a software problem with the front camera could cause the forward collision avoidance (FCA) system to brake suddenly,” the recall alert said.
