A GNWT funding program for regional youth sport events issues about $400,000 annually. This year, the territory says the fund received applications requesting more than $821,000 in total.
Thirty-four projects across the NWT will split $400,275 from the Regional Youth Sporting Events program, the territorial government said in a Tuesday news release.
