As a warm week develops across the NWT, the territory’s wildfire agency reported nine new fires on Wednesday while Parks Canada is tackling a fire north of Highway 5.
NWT Fire said crews were working on a new fire in the Martin Hills west of Fort Simpson, another north of Nahanni Butte, and one southeast of Buffalo Junction in the South Slave.
