Man dead after Colchester County house fire

Article content A man is dead after a fire in Colchester County on Saturday. Article content Firefighters were called to a house fire with possible entrapment in Onslow at about 12:40 p.m. Article content Article content RCMP said in a news release that the home on Branch Road was engulfed in flames when fire crews and police arrived. After the fire was extinguished, the body of the man was found inside. Article content The Office of the Fire Marshal and the Medical Examiner Service are investigating. Article content Police said that based on evidence there doesn’t seem to be anything criminal about the fire. Article content The investigation is continuing.
