Article content It was the first time Toronto has not been able to defeat Calgary in the Northern Super League’s two-year history, which now includes nine matchups between the clubs. “That’s a great accomplishment for us. It is a whole team effort,” said midfielder Taylor Otto, who was one of five players to arrive to Wild FC over the last month. “Defensively we are a lot more structured. Obviously, we would have loved to get three points, but we are headed in the right direction for sure.” The result at BMO Field marks another important moment in Wild FC’s second season and continues the team’s strong run of form as the club remains unbeaten in its last six matches. “For us there has been a lot of little changes, so I think the staff has done a great job adding a little more structure and credit to the girls coming in with a great attitude after a tough start to the season,” added Otto. “We found a way to turn it around. For us it is the next game ahead of us every time.” Goalkeeper Sarah Keilty-Dilling made her second consecutive start for Wild FC, and remains unbeaten. One of the first signings in club history, the Calgary-born Keilty-Dilling earned her first start on Aug. 29 and helped Wild FC battle to a 2-2 draw with Vancouver Rise FC. She followed that performance with another strong outing as Calgary secured a clean sheet against AFC Toronto. “The first half we didn’t play how we expected.
