NEW GLASGOW – The Pictou County Weeks Crushers opened the Maritime Junior Hockey League regular season with a win.

Brody Ford scored the winner in a 3-2 victory over the Amherst Ramblers Sept. 10 before 1,350 fans at the Pictou County Wellness Centre.
