Article content Article content Kirk Durning, CBRM’s director of parks, recreation, building and facilities, presented conceptual drawings outlining a comprehensive modernization of Centre 200 — which included a new curling club facility integrated to the downtown Sydney arena site. The proposed curling club new-build would be located just to the north of Centre 200, with a pedway shown crossing between the club and the arena. Article content Article content Though no specific size dimensions were made available during the presentation, the drawings indicate the club would include dedicated curling sheets, club and spectator areas and supporting space — with exterior colours that would match the main Centre 200 building.
