Article content In a news release issued Sept. 17, the Ontario Provincial Police said Mathew Blake, 23, of Arnprior, had been arrested on Sept. 11 and charged with second-degree murder, indignity to a dead body and obstructing a peace officer. Article content The release also said that Sébastien Boucher, 47, of Rockland had been arrested on Sept. 17 and charged with obstructing a peace officer, obstructing justice and accessory after the fact. He was expected to appear in court in L’Orignal the same day. Article content The charges result from an investigation that began on May 17, 2025, when officers from the OPP’s Russell County detachment responded to a report of a body discovered in the Ottawa River near Dallaire Street in Clarence-Rockland. The deceased was identified as Robert Prévost, 63, who had been reported missing two months earlier.
