Article content In a release, the Ontario Provincial Police said the driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on County Road 43 near Burritts Rapids Road just before 7:45 p.m. on Sept. 17. Article content Article content The driver was not identified publicly by police. Article content County Road 43 was closed in both directions between Burritts Rapids Road and County Road 25 for several hours while investigators were at the scene, but reopened later. Article content Members of Grenville County detachment of the OPP were continuing the investigation on Friday.
