One of the kittens died and the other has since been adopted. PHOTO BY POSTMEDIA /File Article content The RCMP are investigating after a report of someone throwing two kittens from a moving vehicle. Article content In a news release, the RCMP said that on Sept. 20 at around 11 a.m., Kings District RCMP responded to a report of two kittens being thrown from a moving SUV on Route 24 in Lyndale, P.E.I. Article content Article content The RCMP said one of the kittens died after a vehicle struck it, but the second animal was safely recovered and has since been adopted. Article content Witnesses reported the vehicle was a newer model red SUV with a grey roof rack. Article content The RCMP said the investigation was ongoing, and the police were seeking information from the public that could help identify the vehicle and those responsible. Article content The police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage from Route 24 in Lyndale between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Sept. 20 to contact Kings District RCMP at 902-838-9300.
