Agent Raymond Chin was concerned it might spend months on the market, as have many other local properties, but his fears subsided as a steady string of buyers turned up to tour the home. “This year, things take a little bit longer to sell because of the amount of inventory and selection people have,” said Mr. Chin. “There were quite a number of homes that went through price reductions, and we gave it a couple of weeks more before doing one because we did have decent traffic.” About a week after Canada Day, the sellers of the 10-year-old home received an offer $10,000 below the asking price, which they accepted.
