🤖 D.R.A.F.T. Summary
By Hadassah Alencar, Local Journalism Initiative Reporter, The Eastern Door More than 800 locals signed a register to trigger a referendum on an urbanization bylaw adopted by the Municipality of Oka in June, in a turnout that drew more than double the amount of the 414 signatories required. Of the more than 800, a total of 775 of the signatures identified as eligible to call for a referendum on zoning bylaw 2025-289, which allows for many areas of three-story buildings and one with a six-story building, while there were no signatures for the conditional use bylaw 2025-295.
