Fake “Indian” status cards may be circulating

AIAI says the cards are being issued by an individual named William Denby ad claim he has been “falsely representing himself as Indigenous and has been creating false status cards.” AIAI says the cards “have no official recognition with any First Nation, government, or otherwise and are being presented as such by a group calling itself ‘Kawartha Lakes First Nation’”.
