The article count on an MP's card is how many articles in our corpus name them — it is not a measure of how effective, controversial, or well-regarded they are. Cabinet ministers and party leaders accumulate higher counts because of the office they hold, not necessarily anything they did that week, so comparing a minister's count to a backbencher's measures the job, not the person. A count of zero means we haven't tagged a mention yet, not that nothing was written.
