Article content In a release, police said a woman was walking on a paved pathway pushing a child in a stroller in the area of Truro Street and Carpenter Way, near the Aviation Parkway, when she was approached by a man. Article content Article content “The suspect, who was armed with a knife, sexually assaulted the woman before fleeing the area,” police reported in the release. Article content Article content The victim was transported to hospital, where “she is receiving support,” police said in a release. Article content The suspect is described as English-speaking Caucasian, approximately 40 years old, with a dark beard and medium build. Article content He was wearing a black hoodie with front pockets and brown shoulders and sleeves, with faded blue jeans and brown tennis-style shoes. Article content Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area of Truro Street and Carpenter Way at approximately 5 p.m. on Tuesday to contact police. Article content Detectives are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity or who has dashcam, doorbell, or security camera footage from the area.
