Article content “The Delta Police Department continue to investigate the suspicious death of an adult female located in a field in the 6400-block of River Road,” said Delta police spokesman Staff Sgt. Mike Whiteley on Monday in a news release. Article content Article content Article content He said that police had received video that showed a white Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab in the Tilbury area between midnight on Aug. 25 and the morning of Aug. 26. Article content Emergency services were called to the field initially to deal with a fire. Once the fire was extinguished, the woman’s body was found. Article content The woman’s body has yet to be identified. Article content The 6400-block of River Road is a sparsely populated area, with industrial buildings on the north side and farmland on the south.
