Article content The two-day awards ceremonies, which were not televised, focused on technical, artistic, craft and behind-the-scenes achievements. This year, for the first time, they also included specific guest acting and reality categories. The Primetime Emmy Awards, which honour acting, directing, writing, and overall top series categories, will be broadcast on NBC on Sept. 14.
