POSTMEDIA/FILE PHOTO Article content Officers from the Hawkesbury OPP detachment are investigating after a 59-year-old man who had been driving a farm tractor died following a collision on Highway 34. Article content Police responded to the scene of the collision, near Ridge Road, at about 8:50 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 7. In a Sept. 9 news release, the OPP stated that the initial investigation indicated a vehicle had run into the rear of a trailer that was being towed by a tractor. Article content Article content Despite life-saving attempts, the driver of the tractor, Pierre Cusson of East Hawkesbury Township, was later pronounced dead. Article content The driver of the other vehicle was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
