Article content Article content In an email sent to customers, the retail team confirmed the store would be closing permanently timed to the “conclusion of our lease.” Article content Opened on Jan. 23, 2017, the outpost is the only boutique for the store in Canada and one of just seven across North America. Store staff confirmed there is no information about the possibility of it being relocated to somewhere else in Vancouver at this time. Article content Article content Founded in 1972 in Florence, Italy by Stefano and Claudia Ricci, the ultra-luxury brand has built an elite following for its wares, which include made-to-measure suits, sportswear, accessories including diamond-encrusted buckle belts and more. Celebrities such as Tom Cruise, singer Andrea Bocelli and Grammy-winning B.C. producer David Foster are said to be among the company’s famous fans.
