Game 4 is scheduled for Memorial Field in Charlottetown on Sept. 18 at 8 p.m. Article content Article content The Ironmen win in Game 3 snapped a 17-game winning streak by the Islanders in the NBSBL playoffs, dating back to the 2024 final. In Game 1, the Islanders scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning to break a 1-1 tie en route to a 3-1 win. Article content In Game 2, the Islanders scored three times in the bottom of the sixth inning to turn a 1-0 lead into a 4-0 victory. Article content But the Ironmen turned the tables in Game 3, played at Ironmen Field in Miramichi, N.B. Article content Nick Leggatt started the Ironmen rally with a two-out single. Pinch-hitter Jake Cook then walked, and Charlie Malson was hit by a pitch to load the bases. Tyrell Hebert scored Leggatt with an infield single and the Islanders had Cook caught in a rundown between third base and home but could not execute the third out of the inning.
