Sarah Pruys/Cabin Radio Share Fort Smith RCMP are asking for assistance in finding an unnamed individual who pointed a gun at three people on September 19. Police say they received a report at 11pm on Saturday from a man who said a person pointed a gun at him near the Aurora College running track. When RCMP went to the scene, they found a second man who also said a person pointed a gun at him. The suspect was not at the scene, RCMP said. Shortly after 11:30pm, police said they received another call from a woman who said she was chased and had a gun pointed at her by a suspect with the same description. Advertisement. Advertisement. RCMP described the suspect as being 25 to 30 years old, of slim build and about 5 ft 8 in with white or light brown skin and shoulder-length dark hair. They were wearing a red and grey windbreaker jacket and black track pants with a white stripe on each leg, police stated. Police are asking Fort Smith residents to submit CCTV, other video footage or photos matching the incidents described to a community portal link. They also ask anyone with information to contact the Fort Smith RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
