Travis Fraser, from the Vancouver Police Department’s drug unit, said that on July 21 the business contacted the police when employees found 14 cocaine-filled duffel bags inside a container they were unloading in southeast Vancouver. Article content “Obviously, the business was shocked by what it found. They called police right away and are in no way associated with the seized cocaine,” Fraser said in a news release. “This amount of drugs, as well as the stamps and packaging, clearly indicates organized crime is behind the shipment.” Article content It is believed the cocaine was shipped from Honduras in May 2026 and arrived in Montreal on July 5 after a stopover in Jamaica. Article content “We believe the cocaine was supposed to be removed prior to its arrival at the company. For some reason, it was not unloaded,” Fraser said. Article content No arrests have been made.
