Article content David Collison is facing six charges, second degree murder, indignity to a dead body, assault with a weapon, forcible confinement, assault causing bodily harm, and possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to Prohibition order. Ontario Provincal Police found Lowry dead in a home on County Road 26 in Augusta Township shortly before 3:30 p.m. on July 8. Article content The OPP deemed the death a homicide, and charged 40-year-old Alison Doherty from the Township of Leeds and Thousand Islands with indignity to a dead body as part of the investigation, on Sept. 15. Article content The OPP say the accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 23 in Brockville. Article content “We are grateful that we can provide answers to Donna’s family and hold people accountable for their involvement in her death,” OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) detective inspector Jocelyn Sauve said in a social media post following the arrest. Article content The investigation remains ongoing. Article content County Road 26 runs through the southern portion of Augusta Township, which is located about 80 kilometres south of Ottawa.
