Article content This includes the staff you see at voting stations directing crowds, verifying ID, and issuing ballots. There’s also staff needed to run electoral offices, manage voting equipment, and provide general support. Article content What are the skills needed to work a provincial election? Do I need any experience? Article content To work as an election official, you’ll need to be comfortable working with technology, have basic English and math skills, and are able to remain impartial and non-partisan. Article content Strong communication, analytical and customer service skills are also required, along with the abilities to perform repetitive tasks, follow directions, learn quickly, and assist voters as needed.
