Edmonton police are hoping for the public’s help in finding a suspect related to an early-August assault at a store in the Tamarack area.

Police were called at around 8 p.m. on Aug. 6 about an assault at a Walmart in the area of Tamarack Way and 17 Street, EPS said in a Thursday news release.

Police say there was a physical altercation inside the Walmart between two men and a woman that left one of the men with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators know the fight was witnessed and filmed by several shoppers who left the store before EPS arrived.

Police are asking that any witnesses or anyone with video footage of the altercation to call EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone. Anonymous information can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
