Article content Just before 11:10 a.m. officers were called to a complaint of shots fired on 50 Avenue, near 47 Street in Lloydminster, said police in a Monday news release. Article content Article content Emergency crews also attended the scene and began life-saving measures on the man, who later died on scene. Article content Article content Alberta RCMP confirmed the suspect is still at large, but police believe this was a targeted incident. Mathew Howell said the suspect and the victim were seen having an altercation outside and had a “confrontation on foot” when the shooting occurred. Article content “As of right now, we can’t provide a (detailed) description of the suspect, we’re still canvassing the witnesses that were there to try and get a better description and more details,” said Howell.
