That number does not include resale tickets. Article content A search of Ticketmaster’s app shows many blue dots, representing unsold seats, for the Sept. 29 curtain-raiser against the Vancouver Canucks. Available tickets are evenly split between the upper and lower bowls in the arena, which lists its capacity at 18,500 for hockey. Article content Article content Article content The pattern of unsold seats continues through most of October’s home games, including an Oct. 22 visit from the Stanley-Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes and an Oct. 28 Battle of Alberta date with the Calgary Flames. The only October game Ticketmaster is showing as a near-sellout is the Oct. 24 Saturday-night home date against the Toronto Maple Leafs. At the end of the 2025-26 campaign, the NHL announced record attendance numbers — the 32 arenas were at 97.5 per cent of capacity through the campaign.
